Privacy Policy
We provide the following data privacy information to inform you in detail about how your data will be handled.
Access data without personal reference
To improve the contents offered on our websites, certain access data is acquired and stored without the possibility of linking it to a person. As soon as you request a file from a website, access data is acquired and stored as a standard procedure.
The data record usually consists of the following:
- The page from where the file was requested.
- The name of the file.
- Date and time of the request.
- The time spent on the website.
- The amount of data transmitted.
- The access status (i.e. whether the file was transmitted or not found, etc.).
- The IP address of the requesting computer.
- A description of the type and the version of the web browser used.
- The operating system installed and the screen resolution set.
The data records acquired are evaluated exclusively for internal statistical purposes and for technical administration of our websites. The data is not passed on to a third party. The anonymised data is stored separately from personal data. On no account is it linked to your personal data. In this way, it is ruled out that it can be used to draw conclusions about a certain person.
Acquisition and storage of personal data
In the context of the use of our online offers, personal data is acquired and stored only if you provide it to us by e-mail or by using a contact form presented on our websites. The data is deleted as soon as the purpose of its use no longer exists.
In particular, the following data is acquired when you place an order or open a customer account:
- Title
- Name
- Address
- Email address
- If applicable, telephone number
- If an order is placed, payment information such as bank account or credit card number
Use of personal data
Without particular consent, all personal data is used exclusively to process the services requested. We acquire and store the data as required to provide the contractual services. If we deliver goods to you, we transmit your data to the shipping company commissioned to the extent this is necessary to make delivery. Any further use occurs only if you have agreed to such use. Your payment data is transmitted to the respective payment service provider based on the means of payment you have selected. The payment service provider is responsible for your payment data.
In addition to this, we automatically acquire personal data for the intended purpose with respect to any orders placed and process it in an automated file. To this end, the data may also be transmitted to the computer centre of a service provider for commissioned data processing and to companies affiliated with us. Where we employ external service providers to process your data, we have selected them carefully, commissioned them in writing and bound them to our instructions. The service providers will not pass on this data to any third party, but delete it after fulfilment of the contract and upon expiry of any statutory storage periods, unless you have given your consent to any storage beyond this.
Without particular consent, the data acquired will not be used for advertising, marketing or opinion research purposes. If you wish to receive any newsletter we offer, we need a valid e-mail address and information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address specified or that the owner agrees to receiving the newsletter. Any consent to the storage of data and e-mail addresses and their use for sending a newsletter can be revoked at any time.
Where data of the user is requested by any competent authority (e.g. for the purpose of prosecution), we will provide information about the user’s data to that authority in an individual case.
Information, authorisation, blocking and deletion
You may at any time request information free of charge about the data we have stored about you. Moreover, the right may exist to have the stored data corrected, blocked or deleted. Where any statutory or contractual obligation to keep the data prevents deletion, the data will be blocked.
At your request, we will at any time inform you free of charge and completely about the data we have stored about you or your enterprise, correct, block or delete data and, of course, very willingly answer all questions regarding the acquisition, storage and use of data.
We are available to you at all times to provide information about the data stored and for further questions regarding data protection. For this, you may at any time contact us via hello@bambinifashion.com
Data security
Personal data is transmitted via the internet consistently using a secure SSL connection and 256-bit SSL encryption. SSL encryption protects personal data against unauthorised access by third parties. SSL (Secure Socket Layer) is a protocol for the encryption of messages transmitted via the internet that provides an especially high level of security of data transmission.
Moreover, technical and organisational measures protect our websites and our other systems against loss, destruction, access, alteration and dissemination to/of data of its users by unauthorised persons. However, despite regular controls, complete protection against all hazards is not possible.
Cookies
Our websites use cookies to make their operation easier and more customer-friendly. Cookies are small text files which an internet browser stores on the user’s computer. If the user accesses the website again, cookies enable the computer to be recognised. A consequence of this is that data once entered is available, e.g. when an order form is completed again.
Cookies are used on a regular basis which are deleted from the user’s hard disk automatically when the internet browser is closed (so-called session cookies). Other cookies may remain on the user’s computer and allow the user to be recognised next time he visits a website (so-called permanent cookies). The user can at any time change the storage of cookies in the settings of his computer’s browser. To do this, the setting “Do not accept cookies” needs to be activated. However, a consequence of this may be that a website may no longer be used to the full extent.
Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called cookies, i.e. text files which are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by a cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to and stored on a Google server located in the USA. However, if the IP anonymisation on this website is activated, Google will shorten your IP address prior to transmission in the member states of the European Union or in other member states of the Treaty on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted a Google server located in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports about the website activities for the website operator and to provide other services to the website operator which are associated with the use of the website and the internet. The IP address of your browser transmitted in the context of Google Analytics will not be combined with other data of Google. You can prevent the storage of the cookies by making appropriate settings in your browser software. However, we point out that in that case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to the full extent.
Moreover, you can prevent the transmission to Google of the data (including your IP address) generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website by downloading and installing the browser plug-in provided at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
This website uses Google Analytics with the extension “_anonymizeIp()”. Due to this, IP addresses are shortened before further processing, so direct reference to a person can be ruled out.
Google Analytics is used in accordance with the preconditions on which the German data protection authorities and Google have agreed. Information provided by the third party provider: Google Dublin, Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, fax: +353 (1) 436 1001.
More Information:
Plugins of the social network Facebook, 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA, are integrated on our websites. You can recognise the Facebook plugins by the Facebook logo or the “Like” button (“Gefällt mir”-Button) on our website. An overview of the Facebook plugins is provided here: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/
When you visit our websites, the plugin will establish a direct link between your browser and the Facebook server. This will inform Facebook that you have visited our website with your IP address. If you click on the Facebook “Like” button while you are logged on to your Facebook account, you can link the contents of our websites on your Facebook profile. This will allow Facebook to assign the visit to our websites to your user account. We point out that we as the provider of the websites will not be informed of the contents of the data transmitted and their use by Facebook. More information about this is provided in Facebook’s data privacy statement at https://www.facebook.com/policy.php
If you do not wish Facebook to be able to assign your visit to our websites to your Facebook user account, please log out of your Facebook user account.
Newsletter mailing
Our free newsletter informs you about our updates and the products we offer. If you wish to receive our newsletter, you need to provide us with a valid e-mail address and information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address specified or that the owner agrees to receiving the newsletter. Other data is not acquired. This data will be used exclusively to send the newsletter and will not be passed on to any third party. If you have subscribed to a newsletter, we will use your data provided upon registration to send you a newsletter. Your data will not be passed on to any third party. The only exception to this are partner companies which are in charge of the technical handling of the newsletter transmission. In these cases, however, the extent of the data transmitted is limited to the minimum which is necessary.
